Sometimes you find yourself in a situation with no access to hand wash and water. It may be while traveling, after using grocery trolleys, handling money or after coughing and sneezing - these are all great times when hand sanitizer can be utilised.
While a little dirt isn’t bad for you, basic sanitation is necessary to prevent the spread of germs. Hand sanitizers are super simple to make with a few household ingredients and are great to keep in your handbag or car for a quick refresh when needed.
Note: For a stronger antiseptic recipe, the WHO recommends using min 60% rubbing alcohol. Modify this recipe to fill 2/3 of your bottle with rubbing alcohol and the rest with Aloe Vera.
